Settings

This task can only be performed by users with the security line Nutrition Care > Bedside Connect > Global Settings set to W in HS Security.

On the Global Settings page, you can modify several settings that affect the appearance or functionality of the application for all users. This section details the settings you can modify in the application and what they affect.

After the application is installed for the first time, you must change the settings to ensure settings such as the second patron identifier are displaying the way you want to them to appear. Default settings for each setting are detailed in the following table:

Recipe Sources Filter for Request Items Search No selections  Depending on if the current version of the application is an upgrade or a new installation, no selections has a different effect on the application. If the application was upgraded from a version earlier than 4.1, when no selections are made, no items will appear when Request Items are searched. If the application is a fresh install, when no selections are made, all items regardless of Recipe Source can be searched in Request Items.
