Computrition Joins National Efforts to Thank Military Service Members

February 12, 2019 – Los Angeles, CA – During Computrition’s recent annual company meetings week, team members participated in a special project with Operation Gratitude to support a great cause to forge strong bonds between grateful Americans and their military heroes by expressing their appreciation to our nation’s active and retired service members.

Operation Gratitude collaborates with the community through volunteer service projects to assemble and distribute care packages to deployed troops, to their children left behind, and to First Responders, new recruits, Veterans, wounded heroes, and their caregivers. The organization’s “Make Every Minute Count” campaign is a nationwide endeavor to make one package for every minute of the year, by assembling 525,600 care packages during 2019.

This project gave Computrition employees the opportunity to contribute to the assembly of care kits, paracord “survival” bracelets, as well as writing letters of encouragement and building Battalion Buddy teddy bears for the children of deployed troops. Essentially, these items are not only useful, but they help boost the morale of military service members and their families.

Following this event, Computrition’s President Eric Lipsitt stated, “Computrition’s steadfast partnership with our nation’s military stretches beyond automating their foodservice programs to properly nourish service members and improve operational efficiencies. It recognizes the value of every military personnel’s life and this project was a meaningful way for the Computrition team to collectively convey our gratitude.
