Training

A software solution's potential can only be fulfilled when its users know how to use it. Computrition offers a range of training methods to empower your staff so that they are comfortable and confident in using our solutions to streamline your automation process. These services include:

  • Computer Based Training (CBT) modules that cover basic information.
  • On-site training in a classroom environment with hands-on practice during each session.
  • Web-based instruction utilizing "shadowing" techniques.
  • Telephone training with specific step-by-step instruction.

Project Management

Prepping the stage for your success is of utmost importance to us and our team of project managers is here to lay out the road map for your implementation. They will develop, set up, and manage timelines, meeting minutes, work breakdown structures, reporting of project performance, project evaluations, statements of work, operational transition plans, and project control points and plans.

Consulting

We understand that some facilities may lack the staff to take advantage of the solutions, techniques, and services we offer and to be able to use them to their full potential. With over 30 years of implementing foodservice systems, you can rely on our industry-standard expertise to help you organize and improve software usage and internal processes.

Turnkey

If staff is unavailable to install hardware and Computrition applications at your facility, look no further than us. If you have existing or new hardware with the operating system loaded, our professional services team can remotely access the server and install Oracle and the Computrition application. Alternatively, they can travel to your location(s) to install and configure your existing or new hardware and install the operating system, any required supporting software (Oracle), and the Computrition application. They will then test and verify the installation and proper functionality of the Computrition application.

Support

In addition to the standard application support you receive when you purchase our applications, you may require services that are much more than the scope provided with the basic subscription. We offer a range of weekend, holiday, technical, interface and Oracle support that we are sure will cover all of your support requirements.

Oracle

  • Oracle Security Auditing Module
    This service offers users the ability to track and analyze any database activity including database security, access and usage, data creation, change or deletion. It has built-in support for multiple auditing methods, providing you the ability to customize your database security to fit your requirements.
  • Oracle DBA Remote Administration
    With this service, you receive remote DBA assistance for your operation that includes access to our staff of Certified Oracle DBAs at any time during the day, week, or year. Some of the features of this service include, but are not limited to:

    • Standby database
    • Periodic performance analysis
    • Oracle emergency support
    • Oracle software upgrades and migrations
    • Backup and recovery support
    • Immediate response to any database emergency
  • Computrition Oracle Database Maintenance (Alert Notification)
    Provides automated database maintenance, essential for any size operation that offers automatic email alert notification to accommodate many of the tasks that must be performed on a regular basis. The following are some features offered as part of this new service:
    • Schema (dataset) exports
    • Database backups
    • Log file management
    • Cleanup of obsolete export files
    • Scanning of the alert log for errors
    • Disk space monitoring
