Scott Saklad - CEO
Scott Saklad serves as the CEO of Computrition and its sister companies, Common CENTS Solutions and DFM – Dietary Food Management. All three brands are part of the Constellation Software family of vertical market software companies. Constellation operates with the mission of acquiring, building and managing vertical niche software companies. The company is a publicly traded company on the Toronto Stock Exchange, symbol CSU.
Having been with Computrition since 1995, Scott is deeply committed to the foodservice industry, working with customers and prospects alike, looking for solutions that make life easier. He spends much of his time on business development projects, and acts as a resource to many of the Computrition, DFM and Common CENTS teams, helping the company to spot the necessity for and implement change.
Scott worked his way through the ranks at Computrition since 1995 and has taken his technical abilities along with his insight into the needs of foodservice operations to find successful methods in combining the science of computing with the art of the culinary process. Emerging technologies that can be beneficial to Computrition clients are at the forefront, and as a result, he spends as much time as possible making certain to take cues from the industry and apply them appropriately to the markets the three brands serve.
In late 2008 and early 2009, Scott led the acquisitions of both DFM – Dietary Food Management and Common CENTS Solutions, Inc. Both acquisitions strengthen Computrition’s market share and solutions positions within the foodservice software space, with the goal of offering the most comprehensive line of innovative technology solutions to the customers of all three brands.
Scott is a well-known speaker in the area of technology and its efficient applications in foodservice operations. His expertise extends to architectural systems design, technical troubleshooting, workflow design and business process review and engineering. Scott is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara and enjoys travel and spending time with his family.
