We are currently seeking the following:

 

Data File Development Specialists
Put your nutrition and food knowledge to use in a unique setting. Computrition allows you to creatively use computers in nutrition and food service.

 

Job Description/Specific Responsibilities:

Team members will actively review, revise and enter existing and new customer data (food items, ingredients, recipes, menus, and nutritional analysis); participate in data collection of new accounts and their implementation; provide support and assistance to implementation and project managers and other team members.

 

Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge of food and nutrition-related information

  • Previous work experience in nutrition or foodservice operations is desired but not mandatory

  • Computer applications (MS WORD, EXCEL) and working knowledge of word processing, database operations, spreadsheets, nutrition analysis software, and internet searches

  • Good mathematical skills and ability to make simple calculations

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational, detail and interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to work independently

  • Ability to prioritize work assignments and focus on most critical tasks

  • Work as a team player

Qualifications:

  • Equivalent to two years of college education in nutrition/dietetics, foodservice or other related field

This is a full time position with a minimum of 32 hours of work per week required, located in Chatsworth, CA. We offer a flexible schedule, excellent growth opportunities, benefit package, and great working conditions. Salary is commensurate with experience.
