VP of Business Development Thrills Audience with Up and Coming Technology Solutions

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

December 2, 2009, Chatsworth, CA - Computrition has always maintained unwavering support and commitment to the continuation of educational and professional development for the acute healthcare foodservice industry. As a reflection of this, Computrition sponsored an event in which Vice President of Business Development, Matt Otchet, recently presented before an audience of approximately 60 senior level healthcare foodservice executives for the Healthcare Foodservice Administrator’s Association of Greater New York. Held on November 5th at the Veterans’ Administration of New York’s Harbor Healthcare System facility, attendees mingled and enjoyed an opportunity for networking throughout dinner, followed by a discussion and presentation addressing Nutrition and Foodservice in a Digital Age.

The presentation focused on not only what new application and hardware solutions are currently available within the marketplace or soon to be released, but also addressed the process of assessing one’s operation to determine what tools and resources are required from a technical perspective.

Otchet states, "Presenting and sharing our knowledge with the audience at this event was invaluable. It is imperative that we, as suppliers and operators, continue to maintain this phenomenal open dialogue. This process ensures that healthcare facilities remain informed of the vast breadth of solutions available to ease the challenges they undoubtedly face managing food and patient services on such a large scale, often with ever-reduced budgets." Otchet concluded by saying, "The benefits of these bidirectional conversations extend to the supplier community to the same degree, by keeping us informed of the many pressures faced by Foodservice professionals within 21st Century healthcare environments."

Should any foodservice or healthcare organization be interested in having a nutrition informatics, technology, sustainability, or trends in foodservice expert speak to their respective audiences, please contact Stephanie Luros, Director of Marketing, at (800) 222-4488.
