Chatsworth CA, March 13, 2006—Stephanie Luros, Director of Marketing for Computrition, Inc., begins her first term serving on the Industry Advisory Board for the American Society for Healthcare Foodservice Administrators this week. Luros, appointed to the position by the ASHFSA leadership of President Regina Toomey-Bueno, along with Industry Advisory Board Chairs Allie Neiman from Ecolab and Karen Horsely from Sysco, is currently also serving on the Conference Planning Committee for the Association’s National Conference, to be held in June 11-14 in Napa, CA.
The IAB is charged with acting as a liaison between ASHFSA industry supplier members and the association’s foodservice professional members—from over 1000 institutions of healthcare, in the United States, Canada, and abroad. The Board recommends policies and procedures to the board of directors and conference committee on matters pertaining to industry members; provides a forum for sharing ideas, knowledge, research, and current trends during the national conference; and assists in promoting ASHFSA throughout the foodservice industry.
Luros is confident she can contribute positively to the Industry Advisory Board, and help it find continued success. She explains, “My goals include incorporating the standards set at Computrition regarding providing the highest quality products and services to our customers, and apply these same values to the ASHFSA membership.
